Elizabeth and Katy
Elizabeth Jane Hurley has been a model and actress in England since the late 1980s. In 1990 there was speculation that she might have been Hugh Grant's girlfriend. Hurley became the focus of the media in 1994 after Grant was the focus of attention worldwide for the success of Four Weddings and a Funeral. Hurley accompanied Grant at the Los Angeles premiere of the film wearing a Versace gown that was secured with gold safetypins. Hurley has enjoyed a thriving career but her association with Estee Lauder cosmetics is the most notable. Hurley got her first modeling job with the company when she was just 29 years old. The company has since employed Hurley as a product model particularly for perfumes including Sensuous Intuitions as well as Pleasures. Her most well-known work is her part as Vanessa Kensington, in the hit spy comedy films International Man of Mystery (2007) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (2000). Hurley has been modeling and designing the brand's beachwear line. Katy Perry..........................Katy Perry original name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, (born October 25 1984 Santa Barbara California U.S.) American pop singer who gained fame for a string of anthemic and often sexually suggestive hit songs as well as for a playfully cartoonish sense of style. Perry's early attempts at fame in mainstream music were unsuccessful. Perry was signed to two different labels, and then dropped by both labels before there was a release date for any of her recordings. Capitol Records however released Perry's EP Ur So Gay in 2007. Ur So Gay's title track was a jolly and sly song that attracted minimal attention. "I Kissed" a Girl was a more bold ode to sexism that was that was accompanied by a slashing electro-pop rhythm. I Kissed A Girl became an immediate hit, however the song quickly caused controversy. Critics argued that it was a promotion of sexual relations between men and women, while others said the scenario the song depicted was more appealing to fantasies of males. But the mixture of polished and titillating melody helped I Kissed a Girl become an instant hit across multiple countries, generating the sales of her album One of the Boys (2008). Its bouncy, sharp-tongued and bouncy song, the second Hot N Cold also proving well-loved, the album that Perry created herself ultimately registered sales of more than 3 million copies across the United States.
